2020 Brent Belton Golf Academy Fall Junior Golf League

The Brent Belton Golf Academy is excited to announce that our 2020 Fall Junior Golf League is open for registration. The league is for our aspiring junior golfers, ages 7-15 year’s old. The Season (weather permitting) will consist of 6 regular season matches and two playoff matches. The league is great for kids to practice and compete with others of like skill level, while playing in a fun 9-hole format. The league is designed to introduce and elevate our junior golfers playing experience. Parents will be able to caddie as well!
Entry Fee: $149, and includes team uniforms, league matches and practices. Register below at the link.
Due to COVID-19:
We will use tee times on Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons (instead of a shotgun start) , with no large gatherings after play. Practices will be scheduled each day for 1-2 teams per day, during the week of the event only. All matches, practice times, scores, and standings will be posted on the link below.
Rules of play:
Once registration is complete, players will be divided into teams with equal golfing abilities and ages. Players will compete in 6 “regular season” events, and two playoff events. All play will be a 9-hole event, or 2 hours and 15 minutes from their tee time. The format is a two person scramble match play (great for players of all skill levels). Parents can sign up as a “Parent-Coach.” The responsibilities of a “Parent-Coach” are to help players find and select the best ball, assist with Rules of Golf, help keep score, and maintain a positive environment for all players.
Practice schedule:
Practice schedules will be released after registration. Again, due to COVID-19, we will limit large gatherings including full roster league practices. Practices will be limited to 1 to 2 teams only between Monday – Thursday. All practices will be held during the week of each league match, with the first week of practice to be scheduled between Monday, September 14th through Thursday, September 17th. Parents will receive an email with their child’s practice days and times. Practices are not mandatory, and can easily be coordinated around your schedule.
Matches:
All league matches will be tee time only, with the first tee time beginning at 3:30 PM. Parents juggling other sports or activities can request a later tee time. Range balls will be provided. Cart rental fees apply Kyle Boteler, League Director, will email and post tee times on Friday afternoons. Parents will need to notify Kyle if their child will not be able to attend a league match by Thursday at 5 pm.
